Welcome to my little corner of the vast God planned domain. I plan to share mostly my card projects here, you might even possible see some scrapping, quilt projects, and photography. Who knows I may even try other craft projects. Might even share a selection of little recipe cards I have collected over the past few years - scrapped, of course. There may even be some little things of greatness of my daily life. Every now and then, I might even vent!

One Sheet Wonder - Happy Birthday

I love doing one sheet wonder cards where you get many cards from an 8X8 sheet of designer paper. Kathy at http://www.joyfullymadedesigns.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html did nine cards but I took the waste pieces and cut them to make a 10th card for the set. My mother told me at Christmastime she was sort of sad she did not get cards because she was almost out of Birthday ones.  I am sending her this set as a thank you for keeping us over the holidays. Kathy thanks for sharing you did an awesome job on your Christmas set of cards. Love them!

Follow Kathy's template and notes to complete the cards.  I added extra layers here and there as she did to give them a little more dimension.  My Designer Series Paper from Stampin' Up was Everyday Twitterpated  as my inspiration and used the following:

Stamps: Perfect Punches, Water Color Trio, Happiest Birthday Wishes, Creat a cupcake, Elements of Style
Paper: Riding Hood Red, Blushing Bride, Island Indigo, Baja Breeze, Pear Pizzazz and Whisper White
Ink: Basic Black, Pear Pizzazz
Punches: Scalloped Oval, 1 3/4 Scalloped Circle, Modern Label, Word Window, Extra Large Oval, 1 3/8 Circle, Smaller Oval
Accessories: Twitterpatted Buttons, Rhinestones from ??, SU Satin Ribbon-Basic Gray, Small & Large Pearls,  SU white taffeta ribbon, Old Olive Satin SU ribbon, Riding Hood Red corduroy button brad,  Marina Mist ribbon SE, Bigshot, Embossing Templates-Square Lattice and Perfect Polka Dots, Simply Scored Scoring Tools

  3. Thanks Kathy and Jessica. Bows take lots of practice I think. Sometimes I have to try 3-4 times before I like it.
