This afternoon I wanted to do something with another stamp set Festive Flurry, the dies cuts and the Winter Frost paper. I found this card by Renee O and then the tutorial by Dawn O and fell in love with it.  Thanks gals for the directions and inspiration. I did add another layer to my card, did not use the stamps and changed a couple other things. That makes 2 cards today and no stamping. Oh my gotta use the stamps!!

Please leave a comment, ask a question, the are greatly appreciated> I do what I love as I love what I do.

Witches Brew Halloween

I had purchased this paper to make some Halloween cards and was at the point for my swaps so I used the SFF081613 by Deb Currier for my inspiration.  I wanted more texture and depth so I added a few more layers to the card and the pieces. I am not really a Halloween person but liked this paper since it is not so gorish as some can be. Thanks SU.  I also added dimensional behind a piece of the word paper for more depth. Thanks for the very quick and simple sketch SFF gals. Was a fun card to do and no mess.

Supplies Used:
No stamp sets
Paper: Pumpkin Pie, Basic Black, Summer Starfruit, Very Vanilla, Witches Brew DSP
Accessories: Dimensionals

But as I have said all week this is my really big day to play as I am headed back to work in the school district tomorrow for orientation and then on Monday every day for the next 211+ working days. Thank You Floral

Made the card this morning  but had to wait for the dazzles to dry. Also I went and scrap booked today with a few girlfriends. We had a great time and I completed 8 pages.  So excited but sad at the same time because I am headed back to work full time Friday and will not get to play here or there very often.

This is my card sample for SC439. Love the sketch, was quite easy to put together. Yesterday I found the color challenge at Color Q blog and had to use it. The colors are great together but had to go searching for some of the old paper and ink for the Ruby Red. Adding to my Thank You card stash for future use.

Supplies used:
Stamps: Mixed Bunch, Morning Meadow
Paper: Basic Gray, So Saffron, Whisper White, Daffodil Delight  from Quatrafancy DSP, and
Ruby Red from an old package of Ginger Blossoms DSP
Ink: Ruby Red, Basic Gray
Accessories: Crystals Dazzles, Basic Gray Satin Ribbon, Mixed Bunch Punch, Pretty Petals EF

I appreciate all comments, questions, etc. Do not be afraid to let me know what you think of my card.

Cutest Baby Ever

These 3 cards are my class cards for the Label Love and Artisan Punch duo.  I know two people expecting boys so I used a masculine theme and the HSS #166 color challenge. I think we can finish these 3 cards and 6 others in a couple of hours. Hope they like them all. I had fun cutting the kits. Also going to use Mosaic Madness and Six-Sided Sampler stamps sets and Mosaic and Hexagon punches for the other 6 cards.

Supplies used were:
Stamps: Label Love
Paper: Whisper White, Crushed Curry, Pear Pizzazz from the Nursery Nest DSP and
Early Espresso from the Letters to Santa DSP.

Accessories: Crushed Curry Polka Dot Ribbon and Dimensionals,
1" Circle punch, 7/8" Scallop Punch, Artisan Punch

Very quick simple and yet does the trick. Please let me know if you like my cards or have any questions.
My card inspiration cam from two different sites today: Splitcoststampers  for the color challenge of Old Melon Daffodils and then the  SUO #77. I am very pleased with this easy card to do in a card class featuring our new Label Love stamp set and the Gingham Garden DSP collection.  I think the girls will like the color combo and brightness of this card also.  Thanks for posting these challenges.  My last week to play hard.

Quilted Card for TPP #158

Since I also love to quilt but just have not had the time or access to my sewing machine for a few years I decided to make a quilted card I cased from SCS Photo GalleryI have always liked the looks of quilted cards so after seeing this one and the color challenge at TPP #158 I just knew I had to make this card. I am quite happy with how it turned out and will use it in the future for a quilted look card on my swap group. TPP #158 was a color challenge and I always love to participate in those as I have a color block lots of times. Thanks gals for the inspiration. FS340 Morning Meadow BD

The featured Stamper today was This weeks Featured Stamper is Ashjoy! Joyce aka Ashjoy has a wonderful gallery HERE with creations from cards, scrapbook pages to 3d creations. A little something for everyone. Congrats and enjoy your week!

I used her card:
FEB10VSNE as my inspiration.  Changed the colors and the stamps but used the sketch idea. Had fun with this card and needed to follow this color challenge for a swap group. Joyce had used a stamp to make a background on the white piece so I used a sponge dauber and added color to my background.

I made this card early this am but my scanner was not working and my dear hubby just fixed it 8 hours later after church, a church picnic and my moaning and groaning about my scanner printer all in one.

Stamps: Morning Meadow (hostess)
Paper: Marina Mist, Bashful Blue, Calypso Coral, Whisper White, Sycamore DSP (Sale-A-Bration), Bashful Blue DSP in Monochromatic
Ink: Calypso Coral, Marina Mist

Inspiration Challenge 400 on SCS

National Geographic was our Inspiration site today so I chose the following - Here is my inspiration: http://national-geographic.cafepress...dscapes?page=7.

Though God's beauty is very complex and integrated with lots of color I chose to make my card very clean and simple. Not normally my style so I am not sure I totally love the card. There are a ton of colors in the picture so I tried to get the sky, water, grass, and changing leaves as best I could. Fall is one of my favorite seasons of the year. Changing color, cool breezes, warm days and back to school and work for me.

Stamps: Blooming with Kindness
Paper: Many DSP scraps not sure where they are all from but the colors are: Wisteria Wonder, Pumpkin     Pie, Cajun Craze, Some blue and white, Daffodil Delight and Old Olive. CS is Garden Green and Very Vanilla.
Ink: Cajun Craze
Accessories, Hexagon Embossing Folder, Hexagon Punch. Dimensional in the center.

Thanks for taking the time to look and leave any comments or questions.
