Welcome to my little corner of the vast God planned domain. I plan to share mostly my card projects here, you might even possible see some scrapping, quilt projects, and photography. Who knows I may even try other craft projects. Might even share a selection of little recipe cards I have collected over the past few years - scrapped, of course. There may even be some little things of greatness of my daily life. Every now and then, I might even vent!

Another Secret Garden Card

I loved this sketch when I saw it and now for the life of me cannot find it again to recognize who posted the original.  Also like the color combo posted on one of my favorite blog sites so I had to make this card:

For some reason my scanner always cuts off the little bit of edge, going to have to play and figure it out.
Going to be sending this card to some of the Feb BRAK birthdays. Watch your mailbox. Also make some kits for a spring card class in March. Trying to get ahead a little on a few cards for classes and swaps.

Stamp: Secret Garden, Bring on the Cake
Paper: Whisper White, Pretty in Pink, Raspberry Ripple, SAB Print Poetry Designer Series Paper
Ink: Raspberry Ripple
Accessories: Secret Garden Framelit Dies, Rhinestone, Dazzling Details, Label Punch, SAB Vine Embossing Folder

Thank you for looking and taking the time to leave a comment.  They are greatly appreciated.
Also lots of thanks to whomever I cased.

Sycamore Street Blooms

I am really loving the new products that have come out this spring and for Sale-A-Bration. Another sketch from TSOT http://trystampinontuesday.blogspot.com/. I love their sketches and design team's take on the sketch every week. Don't usually get them done until the weekend but today it is Monday and we do not have school so I do not work. YEAH. As I went to post this on TSOT I noticed Beth Mc used the same colors, style, and products I used. Great minds think alike I have always been told. Sorry

Stamp: Mixed Bunch (one of my all time favs)
Paper: Sycamore Street SAB Designer Series Paper, Island Indigo, Pool Party, Rich Razzleberry
Ink; Rich Razzleberry

Thanks for taking the time to look and leave comments.  They are greatly appreciated.

Lovely Weekend

We took a few days and went to our Worldmark Vacation site just a few miles away on the other side of Lake Couer D'Alene and had such a wonderful time. Another couple went with us who had never had the privildge to stay in them. Arrived Friday evening and packed everything in and then play a couple of card games and some Mexican Train dominoes. The next two days we ate nice large breakfasts, played lots of games - Settlers of Katan, Dabble, Quiddler, Shanghai Rummy, Five Crowns and maybe others. Then had a wonderful dinner and played more games.  In between these games we crocheted, did computer work and she even printed some pictures. My goal was to use the swimming pool and the exercise equipment some but that did not happen.  We had to leave our rooms and walk in the freezing cold and fog so we decided it was best to play more games.

Got home about noon today, unpacked and then I headed right to my scrap room as I wanted to make a couple more cards for my Stampin' Up class this coming Saturday. Below is the last card I came up with and it also was the sketch from TSOT http://trystampinontuesday.blogspot.com/. I am beginning to really like that blog and have done most of the sketches since the first of the year. You can also find this card at my blog on Splitcoaststampers: http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/uploadphoto.php.

Ink: Real Red

Happy Birthday to You

I made these cards for my daughter and her husband.  Their birthdays are only 1 week apart.  My daughter was born 35 years ago today and was the happiest day of my life when I now had a son and a daughter to hold and to love.  They have brought many things to my life to remember and cherish. Love them both a lot.

Stamps: Bloomin' Marvelous (top) and Cross My Heart (bottom)
Paper: Island Indigo, Tangerine Tango, Pool Party, Summer Starfruit, Sahara sand and Sycamore Street Designer Series Paper (all Stampin' Up)
Ink: Tangerine Tango and Island Indigo
Accessories: Bitty Butterfly punch, small pearls

The butterflies were stamped on the Sahara sand and also onto whisper white and then punched out and glued down only along the butterfly body for some dimension.

You're Swell, Rain or Shine

I am loving all of the new Stam[in' Up products and having a blast working with them.  One of my Stamp Camp gals wanted to see this stamp set so I made this card for Stamp camp. Camp day is Saturday, January 26, 9:00 am. Cost is $10.00 for materials and we will make 5 or 6 cards or projects. Please let me know if you would like to attend by January 18, in order that I will have enough kits made ahead of time.

Stamps: New Ciao, Baby, New Rain or Shine
Paper: Pacific Point, Daffodil Delight, Basic Gray, Whisper White, Sunshine and Sprinkles DSP
Ink: Basic Gray
Accessories: Daffodil Delight Seam Binding Ribbon, SA2013 Small Curly Label Punch, 1" Circle Punch, 1 3/4" Scallop Circle Punch, Glue Dots, Dimensionals
Note: I used a small strip of paper behind the seam binding so I could not see the DSP behind it.
